About Us
Locally owned and operated in Boise since 2012. Licensed, insured, and small enough to know your name.
Stillbrook Plumbing started in 2012 with one van, a journeyman’s license and a phone number that got passed around Boise’s North End by word of mouth. The first few years were mostly small repairs: faucets, water heaters, the drain that always backs up at Thanksgiving. The customers from those years are still with us, and most of our new work still comes from them telling a neighbor. We have grown into a small team with a few more vans, but we have tried hard to keep the company the size where the person who answers the phone knows the person who shows up at your door.
Here is how we work. When you call, a real person answers during business hours and asks enough questions to send the right technician with the right parts. We give you a window, and if we are running late you get a call before the window closes, not after. On site, the technician looks at the problem, explains what is wrong and what the options are, and gives you a price for the work before touching anything. If something changes once the wall is open, the work stops and you get another conversation, not a surprise on the invoice.

Every technician at Stillbrook is licensed by the State of Idaho and works under our contractor’s license and insurance, so you are covered if anything goes wrong on our end. We background-check everyone we hire, and we keep training: water heaters, tankless systems, PEX and copper, backflow, and the diagnostic equipment that lets us find a leak without tearing a wall open to look for it. We are owner-operated, which means the person responsible for the quality of the work is the same person whose name is on the van.
We live and work in the Treasure Valley, and we have watched it change. Meridian and Kuna have filled in with new subdivisions, Eagle has grown out along the river, and the older parts of Boise and Nampa are being bought and fixed up by people who want to keep what makes them worth living in. Each of those houses has different plumbing and different problems, and we have had our hands in most of them. Whatever you are living in, chances are we have seen one like it.
